Kindness, compassion and dignity

Regulations met

Two weeks before our onsite assessment, we asked the practice to encourage patients to share their views of the service with us. We received feedback from 34 patients. Patient feedback provided a very positive view of the dental team and care provided by the practice. Comments noted the friendliness, professionalism and kindness of staff, excellent treatment received, and the ease of making and accessing appointments. Patients felt able to book appointments within an acceptable timescale for their needs and said they had enough time during their appointment without feeling rushed. Additionally, the practice regularly collected feedback from patients which was reviewed, evaluated, discussed in practice meetings and where suggestions had been made, appropriate action would be taken.

Staff were aware of their responsibility to respect people’s diversity and human rights. Staff were aware of the importance of privacy and confidentiality. Staff felt respected, valued and supported in their roles. Leaders described how they supported the wellbeing of staff.
