During a routine inspection
The person we spoke with was very happy with their care. They told us, 'The staff have been absolutely excellent and I have been made to feel at ease' and 'The standard of care has been excellent'. Comments from the feedback forms we reviewed included, 'The staff were all lovely, friendly and very helpful. Thank you' and, 'The nurse I saw was lovely'.
We saw that people were involved in making decisions about their care and treatment and staff were responsive to people's choices.
People were protected from the risks associated with their care and treatment because appropriate checks were made to ensure that people were fit to receive treatment.
Staff knew how to raise concerns about people's safety, if they suspected people were at risk of harm.
The right numbers and mix of staff were available to ensure that people's needs were met.
There was an effective complaints procedure in place and the registered manager and provider responded appropriately to complaints.
