Patients that used the dental practice told us that they were very happy with the service they received. One patient we spoke with said the service was 'fantastic, great', and that they were happy for their whole family to be treated there. Another said that 'the surgery runs well' and their dentist was 'excellent'. Patients said they were given enough information to make choices between the treatment options offered to them. They could ask questions and were given enough time to make their own decisions about treatment.Returns from a patient survey carried out by the practice showed that patients were satisfied with the appointments process, facilities, staff and their treatment. There were some neutral comments about the difficulties of parking near the practice.
We found that patients were involved in and understood the care and treatment choices available to them. They experienced effective, safe and appropriate care and treatment. The provider ensured that staff had the right skills and experience. They had effective systems in place to ensure that patients were cared for in a clean and hygienic environment. There were systems in place to assess and monitor the quality of service that patients received, and changes were made in response to comments received.
