During a routine inspection
There were information leaflets displayed in the reception area and a range of posters promoting healthy oral hygiene. The waiting room was clean and tidy and there was a seating area for children.
We spoke with patients attending for appointments. Comments about the staff and the treatment they received was positive. Comments included: "Every time I come I am asked about my health and any medicines." "I think they are all kind and professional." "The dentist always explains my treatment."
Patients told us they were treated with respect and that treatment options and costs were discussed so they could make an informed decision. Patients confirmed that their medical histories were taken when they joined the practice and updated each time they visited the dentist. Patients told us that they were asked to sign a consent to treatment form to demonstrate that they had agreed to their treatment.
Patients told us if they had any concerns they would speak to the dentist or the reception staff. We were told that they were very happy with the treatment and advice they received.
