During a routine inspection
Patient's privacy and dignity was respected. We saw the reception staff knew patients well and were courteous. Treatment was discussed privately in the treatment rooms and conversations in the reception area could not be heard in the waiting rooms
The treatment rooms and other areas were kept clean. We saw that dirty and clean areas in treatment rooms were separate and clearly marked. We saw staff cleaning instruments and the process was thorough. The patients we spoke with said the service always appeared clean and tidy.
Qualified staff were up to date with their professional training requirements. However there was no long term planning for staff training.
The service had processes in place for managing complaints.
