During a routine inspection
The patients we spoke with told us they thought they received good dental treatment from the dentist. One patient told us 'I have no complaints. Best dentist I've ever had.' Another patient told us 'His work is good and the prices are reasonable.' We saw that patients were involved in the planning of their own treatment at the surgery and patients were consulted about the treatment options available to them.
The practice was following appropriate guidance in relation to infection control and the staff were well trained and supported. One member of staff we spoke with told us 'I love working here. I enjoy it.' The dental practitioner told us, 'The staff know that they can talk to me about any issues or concerns.' Staff knew what their role was to protect vulnerable adults and children from abuse.
There were effective systems in place to assess and monitor the service and to effectively deal with complaints.
