During a routine inspection
We spoke with the nurse and receptionist who told us that they felt well supported in their work and we saw evidence of continuing professional development and staff appraisals.
We found that the decontamination procedures were carried out in line with national guidelines and that the staff were trained and competent in their work and all wore full protective clothing.
We found that the records of both patient's and practice management were kept securely and were up to date with retained records from previous years.
The dentist told us that he prescribed treatment in line with national guidelines and the practice manager showed us evidence of clinical audits, which maintained the high clinical standard and highlighted any problem areas which were acted upon promptly.
