During a routine inspection
Before people received treatment they were required to complete a medical history questionnaire which asked relevant questions about medical conditions and allergies. People described the service as "very good", said that they would recommend the practice to others and that they were happy with the quality of the treatment they received. There was emergency equipment and drugs available at the practice and regular checks were made on these to ensure that they were in good working order and in date.
There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection. On the day of the inspection the practice was clean and tidy. People we spoke with said that the practice was "always clean" and that the cleanliness was "excellent".
Staff undertook relevant training to maintain their skills and received annual appraisals. The provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people receive.
