During a routine inspection
The people who we spoke with said that they were happy with the information that they were given. They told us that 'The dentist explains everything." Another person told us "I feel that I am given the right amount of information by my usual dentist. I saw another dentist in the practice who was just as informative.'
People told us that they were asked to signed forms but they were not always certain if these were to consent to treatment. The people who we asked confirmed that the dentists always explained about the risks of any treatment that were proposed.
People told us that they thought that the surgery was always clean. One person told us "I usually see the staff washing their hands." Another person said they were always given goggles to protect their eyes and an apron to protect their clothes when they were having treatment.
Overall people were happy with the care and treatment that they received at this dental surgery. The only negative comment was around waiting times. One person said "I would like to be seen on time.' Another person told us that their family always makes appointments first thing in the morning or immediately after lunchtime as they were always seen on time.
