During a routine inspection
People's needs were assessed and care was delivered in accordance with those needs. People confirmed that the provider had carried out an initial assessment. One person said 'Someone came around and asked me lots of questions.' Another person said, 'I am very satisfied, the ladies are very helpful ' they always ask if there is anything else I would like them to do.'
The provider ensured that sufficient skilled and experienced staff were on duty at the times they were needed. One person using the service said, 'They have the right sort of skills. They do things very well.'
When we previously inspected the service on 04 December 2012 we found the provider was not monitoring people's medication effectively. When we inspected on 04 June 2013 we found that the provider had made improvements and that people's medication was managed safely.
We found that the provider took account of complaints and comments to improve the service. People we spoke with told us they were satisfied with the service they received.
