During a routine inspection
During our inspection we saw that people were encouraged to be as independent as possible. We saw that people were supported to participate in activities they enjoyed both at the home and in the local community.
We saw that people received their care in a positive and caring manner. We observed care being provided by staff who had the time, knowledge and skills to deliver the care that each person needed. This was because the provider had a system in place to ensure that there was enough staff on duty at all times.
We saw that people were protected from the risks of abuse because the staff had received the necessary training to identify and report safety concerns.
We saw that there was a system in place to respond to any comments or complaints and we were told that people had access to advocates to ensure that their rights were protected during decision making.
