During a routine inspection
We found that people who used the service were asked for their consent and the provider acted in accordance with their wishes. Staff had a good understanding of how to gain and record people's consent for care or treatment.
People were protected from the risk of infection because appropriate guidance had been followed. Cleanliness of the ambulance environment was maintained, recorded and checked regularly. People were cared for in a clean, hygienic environment.
People were protected from the risks of unsafe or inappropriate care and treatment because accurate and appropriate records were maintained.
