During a check to make sure that the improvements required had been made
People told us they were given sufficient information about their treatment and costs. They said on each visit changes to their medical history were checked. People said staff were approachable, polite, welcoming, respectful, caring and reassuring. They felt that their privacy and confidentiality were promoted.
People told us they were not aware of the complaints procedure. They said if they had any concerns or complaints they would raise them with the dentist and staff. We saw the complaints policy was displayed in the waiting area to inform people of the process.
People said the surgery was kept clean. We saw systems were in place to promote this and prevent risks of cross infection.
We spoke to the dentist, two nurses and the receptionist during the inspection. We saw staff were suitably qualified and trained to deliver care. We saw improvements were required to recruitment practices to safeguard people.
