Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

The admission of a service user aged 16 or 17 must not cause 34 Hamstead Road to operate wholly or mainly as a children’s home when measured across a 12 month period.

The registered provider must not admit any service user aged 16 or 17 to 34 Hamstead Road without the prior written consent of the Care Quality Commission. The registered provider must provide written confirmation from funding authorities that the service user’s care at 34 Hamstead Road will continue past their 18th birthday up to the age of 24.

Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity

The registered provider must ensure that the regulated activity accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care is managed by an individual who is registered as a manager in respect of that activity at or from 34 Hamstead.

The registered provider must not provide nursing care under accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care at 34 Hamstead.

The registered provider must only accommodate a maximum of 4 service users at 34 Hamstead.

The registered provider must not provide accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care in a specialist service to people whose presenting need for assessment or treatment is as a direct result of the person’s learning disability and or autism at or from 34 Hamstead.

The registered provider may only admit young people aged 16-24 under accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care at 34 Hamstead Road.
