During a routine inspection
People stated that they had been involved in making decisions about their treatment options. They said they were given clear information about their treatment and the costs involved. There were arrangements in place to deal with emergency situations.
People said the standard of cleanliness was excellent. The practice had appropriate arrangements in place to minimise risks of infection.
People told us the practice staff were welcoming and friendly. One person said, 'This is the best practice I have attended. I felt listened to and my anxieties about my treatment were sensitively dealt with'. Dental nurses told us they were well supported in their work. They said they had opportunities to further develop their skills and knowledge to become qualified as dental nurses.
People had access to a complaints procedure. People we spoke with were aware of the complaint process, but said they could leave comments in the waiting room. They said they would speak to the staff if they were unhappy with the service they had received. They told us they had not had any reason to complain about the service.
