During a routine inspection
Examples of comments made by patients in a recent patients survey were, 'appointments on time, very rarely late' and 'friendly and efficient staff from receptionist to hygienist and dentist'.
The practice was quiet with a relaxing atmosphere and patients told us that the receptionists were always professional, treating them with respect and dignity and made sure that the patients' privacy was always respected.
The inside of the premises was light and well ventilated. Decoration was up to a good standard and the waiting areas were spacious and comfortable with information which promoted patients' wellbeing. A range of chairs with arm rests were present for use by patients in the waiting areas.
The practice had not received any formal complaints for over two years. All minor complaints were dealt with straight away and the staff said that they were able to speak with the dentists about these matters.
