During a routine inspection
We saw that there was information available to patients around how to make a complaint and promoting oral health care. Patients were involved in making decisions around their treatment.
Staff knew what action to take in response to a potential safeguarding concern around children and adults and how to report concerns related to the practice. However, there was no written information available around these matters for staff to be able to reference.
We saw that there were systems in place to maintain the hygiene of the surgery and dental instruments used.
There were systems in place to monitor service delivery and the health and safety of the environment.
