During a routine inspection
As part of our review, we spoke with one person who was at the practice for treatment when we visited and spoke with three people on the telephone following our visit.
15 surveys were returned to us from people who used the service telling us their views about the Dental Practice and the service they had received.
Comments included:
"They explain everything to you and the likely outcome, they are polite and courteous''.
"They are always willing to accommodate my wishes, very friendly staff''.
'I have been with this dentist for a very long time, if it was no good I would not come here, I am very happy with the service''.
Other comments from people are included in the main body of the report.
We were able to see other information about the checks on the practice in the form of the most recent infection control audits. We saw records relating to the treatment and assessments undertaken by the dentist to ensure the dentist had the relevant information about each individual.
People told us they felt involved in making decisions about their dental care and was given the information they needed to be able to look at all their options.
There were arrangements in place to deal with emergency including training for staff.
The information we obtained from our contact with people and the surveys returned to us, told us in general people were happy with the treatment they received.
