During a routine inspection
We found that patients who used the service had been given full information about the scan and what to expect on the day. Patients were treated with respect and courtesy. We saw staff reassured patients and took their time to settle them.
All staff working for Sevenoaks Diagnostic Centre had been trained to identify patients at risk of abuse and knew how to report their concerns.
Staff were trained and supported to provide the service and received regular appraisal and opportunities for professional development.
There were systems in place to audit and monitor the quality of the service.
