During a routine inspection
One person told us "staff were very helpful and polite" and another said "the service was prompt".
We looked at Company policies, staff rotas and two records of people who use service - the records were up to date and accurate. There were adequate numbers of staff available to manage the service.
We checked records of equipment maintenance and saw files which contained an engineers report of a routine service of the Magnetic Resonance scanner carried out on 12th July 2013 and detailed information regarding electronic testing of portable appliances on 19th April 2013.
Staff told us they enjoyed their work and felt well supported. We saw records of induction programmes, staff training and copies of qualification certificates.
The Registered Manager told us they carried out satisfaction surveys every month - we saw the written summary of "The Patient Satisfaction Survey" for July 2013. The comments were complimentary about the staff and service. Examples included "staff made me feel at ease", "very good prompt service", "staff were professional in their attitude" and "I was made very comfortable and reassured throughout my scan". We were told no complaints had been received during the past year.
