During a routine inspection
People told us they were very satisfied with the service they received. They told us staff always checked for their consent before they carried out any care. One person said: 'They help me understand my treatment and always check with me before doing anything'.
People told us staff were professional, caring and kind. They said staff took time to explain the treatment to them. One person said: 'The nurse is very understanding and has done wonders with me'. Another said: 'She (the nurse) is fantastic. It's an amazing service and has given me a new lease of life'. Another said: 'They never rush me and stay as long as I need. They're very good, I couldn't ask for more'. We found care was planned and delivered in a way that ensured people's safety and welfare.
We found there were robust recruitment and selection systems in place. We saw there were good systems in place for assessing and monitoring the quality of the service.
We found the service had systems and processes in place to manage complaints. People told us they had received information about how to make a complaint. One person said: 'I have no concerns but I'd know who to speak to if I did and feel sure they'd be sorted.'
