During a routine inspection
We found people were asked for consent prior to any treatment being carried out and were asked to sign a consent form regarding the treatment given.
We found the building and its three surgeries to be clean throughout. We examined records that showed infection control audits were carried out on a regular basis. We examined records that showed the three surgeries were also deep cleaned on a regular basis.
We found that all staff received appraisals on an annual basis. This meant that the practice had processes in place to promote and continue the professional development of its employees.
We asked for and received a summary of complaints people had made and the providers response. We saw that people's complaints were fully investigated and resolved, where possible, to their satisfaction. This was in line with the complaints policies and procedures the service had in place.
