During a routine inspection
We saw that care and treatment was provided to people in line with their individual treatment plan. We reviewed records and found that consultations and vaccinations were provided by suitably qualified staff.
The environment was clean and presentable. We saw evidence of weekly and monthly cleaning audits being completed, and that an infection control policy was in place. We found that medicines were not stored safely and securely.
Staff were provided with an induction program, and there was a program of staff development in place. Staff received an annual appraisal, but we also found that staff did not receive formal supervision sessions from their line manager.
People's views were sought when reviewing the quality of service received. We saw client feedback comments for the current year. One person who used the service said, "It's a very accessible and good service."
