During a routine inspection
A member of staff told us "I have only been here for 14 weeks but can see how person centred the service is. The manager has a wealth of experience and has supported me well." Another member of staff said: "We have had a few changes recently but it is exciting getting to know the new people coming in. One of them has been a real breath of fresh air and I am looking forward to working with them."
On our last inspection we found the service to be non-compliant in two areas. One of the areas was staff training in Safeguarding vulnerable adults. We saw in staff records all staff had completed or were booked on annual safeguarding training. Staff we spoke with were aware of abuse and knew what to do if they found abuse occurring.
The other area was staff had not received an induction training or regular supervisions. We saw in staff's records induction checklists had been completed for new staff since January 2013. Staff told us how often they received supervisions and we saw up to date supervision records in staff files.
The provider regularly monitored the quality of the service with regular audits and feedback from people, staff and professionals.
