During a themed inspection looking at Domiciliary Care Services
telephone surveys of people using this agency and their findings were incorporated into this report.
This agency provided a service to 19 people, some of whom were too ill to visit or telephone. We were able to speak on the telephone with two relatives and with six people who received a service from this agency. We also visited four other people at home to ask them for their views about the standard of care they received.
Each person we visited at home told us they were happy with the service, that the carers were reliable, and that the help they received had been agreed with them in advance and was personalised according to their preferences. They said the staff who supported them at home were all friendly and treated them with respect.
One person said their care worker "'is absolutely lovely'" This person also said that the care worker "'helps me to be as independent as I can be'" Another person said, "'every carer I have had has been lovely. They have never let me down, and I now look forward to them coming in'"
