During a routine inspection
People experienced care, treatment and support that met their needs and protected their rights. Everyone we spoke with said they were happy and felt well cared for. The people we spoke with told us they were very happy with the care they received.
People who use the service were protected from the risk of abuse, because the provider had taken reasonable steps to identify the possibility of abuse and prevent abuse from happening. People told us they felt safe. One person said, 'The care staff are very caring."
There were effective recruitment and selection processes in place. There were enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff to meet people's needs. Although there had been changes in managers in recent months staff said they enjoyed working for the service and felt well supported.
The provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people receive. People who used the service and the relatives told us that they were aware of the complaints procedure and felt confident that any concerns raised would be dealt with appropriately.
