During a routine inspection

We spoke with a patient who had undergone both a CT scan and a MRI at the service. They told us they were happy with the service provided and described it as 'excellent.' The patient said that staff had gone through the safety screening form with them more than once during their appointment and on the telephone before they attended the unit. They felt comfortable with staff and described them as 'friendly and approachable.'

The equipment used was serviced regularly to ensure it was safe to use and suitable for its purpose. Staff received appropriate training and development to enable them to provide safe and effective care and treatment to patients. The provider monitored the service to make sure that an appropriate standard of care and treatment was provided. Improvements were made to the service when concerns were identified.
