During a routine inspection
We telephoned three relatives of people who lived at Saxonbury. They all told us how happy they were with the way the home met people's health and social needs. They told us about the support people received when they were in hospital and that they were kept informed about any health needs people may have had. Relatives also told us that if they had any concerns they were able to talk to the manager about these and were confident that these would be sorted out. Relatives were clear that they did not have any concerns about Saxonbury.
We spoke with a health professional involved in the care of people. They stated that they had no concerns about how people's health and care needs were met and were complimentary about the way the service met people's needs.
Everyone we spoke with confirmed that people's privacy and dignity were maintained at all times and that people were able to make day to day decisions such as what time they got up and how and where they spent their time.
People said that if they had any concerns or complaints they would raise these with the manager.
