During a routine inspection
We saw that the person experienced safe care based on detailed care plans that covered all aspects of their health and social care needs. There were risk assessments in place that provided guidance to staff to minimise potential risks. We saw that a range of activities had been provided that reflected both the person's needs and choices.
The person who used the service was protected from abuse as they were supported by a staff team who had appropriate knowledge and training on safeguarding adults. They told that us that if they had any concerns they would report them to the manager.
We spoke with two members of staff who told us that they felt supported by their manager. We saw that they received on-going training and supervision, which provided them with the skills and knowledge to meet the needs of the person they were supporting.
We saw that the provider had effective systems in place to help keep the person safe and to assess and monitor the quality of service provision.
