During an assessment under our new approach

We carried out this on-site announced assessment on 5 December 2024. We found the practice had met all regulations. Recruitment procedures reflected current legislation and there was effective leadership and a culture of continuous improvement. Patients were treated with dignity and respect and at the time of our assessment, could access care, support and treatment when required. Patients’ care and treatment was provided in line with current guidance and infection control procedures were in place. The practice had systems to manage risks. MLB DENTYSTA LTD is in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk and provides private dental and medical care and treatment for adults and children. This assessment relates solely to the provision of dental services at the location. The practice is located on the first floor and is accessed by a flight of stairs, car parking spaces are available near the practice. The practice had 2 treatment rooms both situated on the first floor, only 1 treatment room was for dental care and treatment. During the assessment we spoke with 1 dentist, 2 trainee dental nurses, 2 practice managers and a company partner.
