During a routine inspection

People we spoke with were happy with the service they received and told us they found the staff 'kind' and 'very helpful'. They told us they were involved in developing their care plans and were aware of the contents. They felt that staff were well informed of how to meet peoples care needs.

Relatives thought the service was safe and they felt assured that the correct care was being given to their relatives.

We had received information from St Helens safeguarding unit prior to our inspection and we used this information as part of our inspection in relation to dealing with emergencies, communication and safeguarding of adults. We saw that the service had positively responded to the information received.
