During a routine inspection
People we spoke with told us they were satisfied with their support. One person said, 'It's nice here.' Another person said, 'I eat healthily, they (the staff) observe me cooking my meal, but I am quite capable.' People talked about the community activities they were involved in and how they could make their own decisions about what to do and when. They said they cooked their favourite meals, were able to choose what they had and did their own shopping and cooking.
People said they were happy living in supported living. One person said, 'It's better here than where I was before.' Another said, 'It's a nice place to be, we're busy.' Some people were aware of their care plan and talked about how it was put together. People confirmed that they had been involved in discussions about their support. They said they had attended a review meeting. This was a meeting for them with their social worker and staff to discuss their care and support. People told us they felt safe living in supported living and if they had any concerns then they would speak with the staff or manager. People spoke positively about the staff. One person said, 'The staff are nice.'
