During a routine inspection
One person who used the service told us: “They are really good, really excellent, definitely recommend them. I’m not just saying that, they really are good. Any issues, the girls in the office are really great.”
We found the provider had appropriate policies and procedures in place to help safeguard people who used the service from abuse and harm. We looked at a whistleblowing policy for staff to follow in the event of witnessing abuse or poor practice by other workers.
We found medicines were safely administered and people who used the service received their medicines in the way they had been prescribed.
Staff we spoke with all said they felt valued and supported by the provider. One member of staff told us; “We are very well supported, managers are always available and listen to what we have to say. They are a good team. Standards are high, they will points things out if things are not up to standard.”
We found the provider had effective systems in place to monitor the quality of the service provided. The provider operated a system of unannounced ‘spot checks’ when a visit was being conducted to monitor the quality of the service being provided.
