During a routine inspection
People who used the service told us staff treated them with dignity and respect and their privacy was maintained.
Comments we received were: 'Without them I would be useless;' 'They do what I want them to do;' 'I feel safe and they treat me well at all times:' 'X (support worker) is good, really good has done a lot of good for me;' 'I get the support I require, like a little family'.
No one including the support workers had any complaints about the service. People said that the support workers arrived on time and stayed for the correct amount of time. On rare occasions if the support worker was going to be late they always let them know.
We were told that there was a comprehensive induction and training programme in place. All the people who used the service said that they thought the support workers had the skills necessary to support and care for them.
