During a routine inspection
We reviewed two care records. Each care record included a personalised care and support plan. The plans were written about the person they concerned and detailed delivery of care and support in relation to them as individuals.
The records contained a comprehensive needs assessments, detailed daily records and appropriate and individual risk assessments. This demonstrated that the provider understood the need to carry out appropriate assessments to ensure care and support was planned and delivered in a way that was intended to ensure people’s safety and welfare.
The provider had the necessary documentation, support and guidance for staff and the people who used the service to demonstrate people were protected from the risk of abuse.
