During a routine inspection
We, the CQC, spoke with seven people, three relatives and a social worker over the phone about their experience of the service. We also spoke with the regional manager, two deputy managers, two team leaders, three care workers and an administrator at the service.
All the people we spoke with were very complimentary about the care provided by the service. Many people gave examples of staff 'going the extra mile', 'going above and beyond' and 'going further'. One person described their care as 'absolutely perfect'.
All the people we spoke with described staff as kind and said they felt safe when the staff were in their home. One person said 'I could trust X with my life.' Another person said 'We needn't have worried. Each and every one of them is so marvellous.'
All the staff we spoke with felt very well supported. There were systems in place to monitor the quality of the service and manage risk.
