During a routine inspection
People who used the service had positive comments to make about the standard and quality of their support and care. This was often described to be, 'Excellent' and, 'Very good.' People told us that they had experienced an increase in their level of independence and confidence, as a result of the support and care provided. They told is that this had enabled them to remain living at home.
There were effective systems in place to protect people from the risk of abuse. Staff were trained and knowledgeable about their roles and responsibilities regarding safeguarding vulnerable people from abuse. People who used the service reported that they felt, 'Safe' and trusted members of staff.
Staff were supported, trained and supervised to safely do their job, which they said they found rewarding. People who used the service had positive comments to make about how staff had supported them.
Systems were in place to make sure people who used the service were protected from unsafe and inappropriate support and care. Work was in progress to improve the way information was categorised to support the success rate of the service regarding re-enabling people to remain living at home.
