During a routine inspection
The provider's analysis of a survey of people who used the service showed that 100% of people provided top scores on eight out of eleven questions.
We checked three people's files and all contained records that included medical assessment and people's consent.
We checked a nurse's induction training record that showed a range of relevant training subjects were completed within the specified two weeks.
We spoke with a nurse, the only clinical staff member working in this service, and with the store's assistant manager. They both were knowledgeable about the service, the procedures and the health travel products offered to customers. The nurse, with 12 years experience of working in the NHS, also was knowledgeable about people's safety and safeguarding.
