During a routine inspection
People said that the staff spoke with them in a respectful way, respected their privacy and encouraged their independence. They said "The staff are fine". "I like living here, I am supported by the staff and they let me choose what I want to do".
We saw that the support provided to the people was personalised to their needs. They were aware of their support plans and said they had gone through them with the staff and their family.
People told us they felt safe when staff visited. They told us that if they had any concerns about anything they would speak to the staff. They told us that staff listened to them.
We found systems in place to check the quality of the service being provided which included sending annual surveys to people using the service, monthly reviews by individual key workers and quality assurance visits from the organisation.
