During a routine inspection
People had signed a consent form to indicate their agreement to their care package. Staff also asked for people's consent before providing care, and explained the task they were going to assist them with.
People's needs had been assessed and care had been delivered in accordance with those needs.
People confirmed that the provider had carried out an initial assessment of needs and that their care plans and the risk assessments had been reviewed when required.
The provider had appropriate arrangements in place to protect people from abuse.
We reviewed staff files to check whether there was a robust recruitment procedure in place and we found that all relevant pre-employment checks had been made.
We also found that the provider had taken account of complaints and comments to improve the service. People we spoke with told us that they were satisfied with the service they received.
