During a routine inspection
The manager is registered with the Care Quality Commission and we saw a copy of their certificate on display on the notice board at the office.
We spoke with customers who were able to confirm staff obtained consent prior to any activity. Some comments received were, 'Staff always asked permission for care', 'Staff are polite and respectful' and 'Staff knock on the door to come in'.
We saw evidence of safeguarding referrals appropriately investigated and documented.
During our inspection we spoke with three members of staff, they confirmed they had received up to date training relevant to their role.
We spoke with three members of staff, some comments received were 'The manager is very good' and 'The manager is lovely I can talk to her about anything and she will always get back to me'.
Staff were able to tell us how they would deal with a complaint. We were told 'If a person complained I would inform the manager and write it down'.
