During a routine inspection
People who used the service told us they were content with the support they had received from Addaction. One person told us 'The programme is very structured. It has helped me to build up trust and I have an open and honest relationship with my worker'.
Support was planned and delivered in a way that was intended to ensure people's safety and welfare. Staff treated people who used the service with respect and dignity. One person told us, 'It has provided a safe place to sort out and work through my emotions, which is what I needed.' We observed staff speak with people in a respectful manner and listen to their opinions and comments.
We saw that patients were protected against the risks associated with medicines because the provider had appropriate arrangements in place to manage medicines.
Staff confirmed they were given the opportunity to build on their skills and received appropriate support from the registered manager and team leader.
The provider had quality assurance systems in place that ensured people were safe and changes could be made to improve the service provided.
