During a routine inspection

We spoke with people who used the service whilst they were at the service and on the telephone. People told us that they had everything clearly explained to them both before and during the procedures.

People we spoke with told us the staff were very caring and one person told us the care that they received had been 'Excellent'. We observed people having MRI scans and saw that staff were patient and kind and explained what was happening.

We looked around the clinical and communal areas of the service and saw that they were kept clean and tidy. We spoke with staff about the procedures they followed to ensure the risk of infection was kept to a minimum.

We looked at records of staff training and saw that staff were supported to complete training that allowed them to maintain their professional qualifications.

We looked at audits carried out by the service to assess the quality of the service provided and saw that the service asked people for their feedback following treatment.

We looked at care records kept by the service. We saw that there was an electronic system in place which contained all the information needed by staff to ensure that people received the appropriate treatment.
