During a routine inspection
Care was planned and delivered ensuring people were given safe and appropriate care. The service was responsive to the needs of people. We spoke with a relative of a person using the service and they told us, 'This should be the model for all services. They respond to the changing needs of my relative.'
We saw there were systems in place to ensure people were safe and when incidents occurred these were acted on in line with safeguarding vulnerable adult's procedures.
Staff were trained and supported to deliver safe, effective care. One relative told us, 'Staff were trained to deliver specific care and support to [my relative]."
Weekly meetings were held with all of the people using the service. Records showed discussions were held in relation to recent activities and whether these had been enjoyed, plans for the next week's activities and if people had any concerns they wished to raise.
