Updated 19 April 2024
Date of assessment: 24 April 2024 to 3 May 2024. This inspection was prompted in part by notification of an incident following which a person using the service died. This incident is subject to further investigation by CQC as to whether any regulatory action should be taken. As a result, this inspection did not examine the circumstances of the incident. However, the information shared with CQC about the incident indicated potential concerns about the management of risks to people. This inspection examined those risks. We reviewed the changes the provider had made to the environment since the incident. We reviewed the provider’s risk assessment and risk management processes. We also reviewed the processes in place to manage people’s medicines. This assessment did not cover all parts of our Single Assessment Framework; therefore, we have only updated scores and ratings for those areas we have assessed. We will carry out future assessments to cover other parts of the Framework and will update our website with our findings At the last inspection in January 2023 the service was rated Good. At this inspection we looked at 2 Quality Statements from 1 Key Question and found the service continued to be Good. Where risks to people were present, action was taken to assess and manage those risks to reduce the risk of harm to people. People’s medicines were managed safely.
