Our view of the service

We assessed this service from 1st to 29th October 2024. We assessed this service because when last inspected it was rated requires improvement. The service had not been inspected since 2019. We inspected all the quality statements across the safe, effective, responsive and well-led key questions. Grimsby Office location is operated by Health Transportation Group UK Ltd. The service provides a non-emergency patient transport service from several sites throughout England. This assessment report details our findings at the Grimsby Office. Between June 2023 and June 2024, the service undertook 33,890 patient journeys. This number does not include either cancelled or aborted journeys which had been previously planned.

People's experience of this service

People who used the service were complimentary. People gave feedback that the staff were caring and attentive when transporting them.
