During a routine inspection
People were regularly asked for their views about the service through questionnaire surveys and individual service reviews. Their views and wishes were taken into account in the service provision. People were given information about the agency, about how to make changes and choices, and how to report concerns.
Those people spoken with were satisfied with most aspects of the service. They said the service was reliable, and felt the carers were skilled and looked after them well. One person said, "They have gone above and beyond the care package and do their level best to make sure everything is in place; they are brilliant people". However most people said they were not notified if carers were going to be late, and one person had complained to the agency about a large number of carers involved in their care.
Two staff who spoke to us told us there were good training opportunities and they felt sufficiently trained and competent in their work. They felt there were enough staff to enable them to provide a good standard of care without being rushed.
