During a routine inspection
All of the people we spoke with were very happy with the service. A relative told us 'At the moment I can't fault it.' They went on to say 'I would give them an A+.'
The provider had systems in place to ensure they worked with the consent of people who used the service. Relatives told us that they knew their family member had the right to refuse. A relative told us 'They always ask my family member what they want.'
Care and support was planned and delivered in a way that ensured people's safety and welfare. A relative told us 'Three members of the family were involved initially in planning of the care.' They went on to say 'They asked us what time, how long we needed them and what support we needed.'
The provider had systems in place to ensure that people who used the service were protected from the risk from abuse.
We saw that a recruitment process had been followed. This ensured that people's needs were met by staff that were appropriately qualified and experienced.
The provider had systems in place for assessing and monitoring the quality of the service.
