During a routine inspection
We found people gave consent to their care and treatment and received care and support that met their needs. . A person who used the service told us, 'If I say I don't like something it doesn't happen again. I am treated with great respect here.' Another person said, 'I like it here, I want to stay if I can.'
We found that suitable arrangements were in place to manage people's medication, which was kept in their room, and ensure they received any medication they needed. A person who used the service told us, 'Its safe, its mine, is not muddled up with someone else's.'
We found there were sufficient staff to meet people's needs. A person who used the service told us, 'I know all the staff now, they are all very good. I think they know me now as well.' A relative told us, 'The staff are 110 per cent perfection. You couldn't get nicer staff.'
We found the provider assessed and monitored the quality of the service. A care worker said, 'Would I put my mum in this home? The answer is yes I would. There is quality and person centred care here.' A person who used the service told us, 'The whole place is kept clean. I have been in four homes and this is the best one.'
