During a routine inspection
People we spoke with all said that they had been asked for and given their consent to the care and support they required. One person said "They always ask me if everything is alright." Another person said "They come out to my home often to make sure everything is O.K."
People told us that the staff were kind and caring. One person said "The staff are lovely." Another person said "The staff are kind, caring and patient." We found that people's care and health needs had been assessed, planned for and delivered.
We found that the staff had been trained to safely support people with their medicines when this formed part of their assessed needs.
People told us that they appreciated the consistency of the teams of staff that provided their care. One person said "I get a rota so I know who is coming to me." We found that people were cared for by enough staff with the appropriate training to meet their needs.
People had been given enough information to make a complaint and the provider was using an effective complaints procedure.
